Third Party Insurance

If you decide to take out third party insurance, you will find it a lot cheaper than comprehensive, this is because it only covers your liability to others and will not cover you for damage to you or your vehicle. This is the least amount of insurance you are allowed to have by law in the UK.

If your car were to be stolen and be involved in an accident, your policy will protect you against any claims made as a result of the accident. Even though it is the thief’s fault, it is the law that anyone injured in an accident is compensated.
It is also worth mentioning that a third party policy will also pay you for a solicitor to help you with your claims, however the policy will not pay for any fines.
